The unique snapshot technology is now taking a new shape with the prototype imec Multishot VNIR + RGB – a multi-sensor system that covers the visible to near-infrared range, complemented with a high resolution RGB sensor. With this flexible system that combines different image sensors, users can acquire real-time spectral and RGB data in uncontrollable and dynamic environments.
The Multishot VNIR + RGB comes with three sensors, integrated into a single housing. This allows the users to easily assess the pros and cons of different spectral resolutions and ranges without the need to invest in multiple devices. From assisted surgery, and machine vision to quality inspection, the Multishot supports several use cases and applications.
Users can now discover the aspects of this development kit and utilize it to further build new configurations and camera designs.
